Terms & Conditions

"We", "Our" or "Us" means Alex's curtains & blinds. "You" or "Your" means the person who accepts these terms & conditions by using www.alexcurtains.com.au and purchasing products or services from Alex's curtains & blinds.
These terms & conditions together with your order constitute a legally binding agreement between Us and You for the supply of products.

Placing an Order
The instructions on the website privide all necessary information regarding placing an order.
Orders are received by Alex's curtains & blinds when Alex's curtains & blinds sends a confirmation to Your e-mail address.
You are responsible to provide the correct contact details.
Your order may be canceled by Alex's curtains & blinds at any time before the dispatch. In this case, funds paid by You for that order will be refunded. You will be provided with the confirmation e-mail.
It is not Alex's curtains & blinds liability, if orders are declined or delayed due to internet connection problems.
By accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 years, otherwise you can not place an order with Alex's curtains & blinds.

Alex's curtains & blinds can change all prices shown on www.alexcurtains.com.au at any time without notice.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
All prices exclude delivery costs.
All prices include GST.

Alex's curtains & blinds accepts payment via Visa Card, Master Card, PayPal and direct Bank deposits.
After payment confirmation, Alex's curtains & blinds will email you a tax invoice, as a proof of purchase.


We deliver our products Australia wide.

Alex's curtains & blinds delivers orders within 5 business days for Ready-Made Products and 15 business days for Custom-Made Curtains. This period commences from the date of payment of the delivery cost invoice.
Alex's curtains & blinds does not accept any responsibility for delays, damage or loss suffered by customer as a result of any factors outside of Our control.
Alex's curtains & blinds does not accept any liability for inaccuracy of information provided to customers by the courier company. Customers should liaise with the courier after the dispatch.

If a courier of the freight company missed you, a redelivery would be at your expense, or you can pick up the parcel from a depot of freight company. Otherwise, you can give authority to leave the parcel at front door. We will not be responsible for loss of goods in this case.

Refunds and returns

If You are unsatisfied with the purchase, You can notify us of a problem within 7 days of receipt of the goods and organise to return the product and receive a refund of the purchase price excluding the associated delivery cost. Goods must be returned in an undamaged condition, in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition. Customers must return the products for which they are seeking a refund at their own cost. These refund conditions are not applicable to Custom-Made products.  
Faults will be dealt with in accordance with our warranty, after this 7 days period.
Custom-Made products are manufactured to fit your window with your unique measurements. That is why, we accept returns of Custom-Made products which were incorrectly made by Alex's curtains & blinds, or have defects.
Alex's curtains & blinds issues a refund, after receiving the returned products. The customer receives a confirmation e-mail.
We are not responsible for a loss or damage of products in returned transit.

All Alex's curtains & blinds products are covered by a warranty from 1 to 3 years. The date of delivery of the product is the first warranty day.
Customer should be keeping a tax invoice until the end of warranty period.
We will replace the product, or if Alex's curtains & blinds is not able to provide a replacement product, we will provide a credit for Alex's curtains & blinds products, or refund the cost of product. The delivery cost is not included in the amount of the credit or refund. The warranty period is not extended or restarted by replacement of the product under our warranty.
We are not responsible for a loss or damage of products in returned transit.
Our warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
malfunction, failure or damage as a result of accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, liquid spillage, fire exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by vermin or insect.

Alex's curtains & blinds respects the privacy of its customers.
We collect information to process your order and warranty requests.
The information includes: your name, address, phone number, email address.
If you find any inaccuracies in your contact details, send us an e-mail and we will correct it.
We endeavour to use all necessary measures to hold your information securely.

We are not responsible for any losses, or damage of any kind. Our liability for any our product does not exceed the amount, which has been paid by you to us for the product at issue.
